We debate which US-born NBA stars have the best chance to win a future MVP and why the award is as much about team context as it is about points, rebounds, and assists. We react to ESPN’s candidate list, challenge a few names, and ask who can end the streak of MVP winners born outside the United States.
• MVP as a regular season award shaped by team record, role, and expectations
• Cooper Flagg as an MVP-level talent and why Dallas stability matters
• Cade Cunningham’s playmaking size and why Detroit’s rise changes his case
• Anthony Edwards as a two-way engine and how roster upgrades affect timing
• Kawhi Leonard’s MVP talent vs games played and health concerns
• Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum sharing the spotlight and splitting narrative
• Jalen Brunson’s clear leadership role and why a Knicks title run boosts MVP odds
• Steph Curry’s late-career MVP scenario tied to roster fit and seeding
• Skepticism on certain candidates based on situation, hierarchy, and scoring load
• Honorable mentions and what kind of team jump creates MVP momentum

Welcome And The MVP Question

SPEAKER_00

What's up, everybody? It's your favorite show's favorite show, get a bucket. I'm your host, Trey, and as usual. Hope you're all having a wonderful, wonderful day. Today we're going to talk about NBA players born in the United States who have a good chance of winning the MVP at some point in time. But before we do that, please make sure to hit that like and subscribe button. Comment tell anyone who's anyone about the show. I'm trying to get the ratings up a little bit, you know, just a little bit. And if you wonder where you've heard this, that's because you've been listening to me Monday through Friday at 11 o'clock a.m. Eastern Standard Time. So I greatly appreciate you. But let's go ahead and back and talk about this. Because again, we know what the MVP is, right? The NBA MVP is a regular season award, the most valuable player on the team. And sometimes that can actually be subjective. Like I have my own standards, but guess what? Your standards are a little bit different. So I'm curious once I start listening off some of these players, I want to know your thoughts on how you view them as MVP candidates potentially. And what are your expectations of that person, that player, that athlete actually winning an MVP. Now I saw this, I saw this post by ESBN, and they were talking about players who, you know, could win it. And I I'm not I'm not mad at it. I'm not too mad at it. I got some gripes with a few players, but I'm not too, too mad at it. Some of the players that they listed off, I can act, I can agree with. Some of them I can understand where they're

What MVP Voters Really Reward

SPEAKER_00

coming from. I just might not think they're gonna make it. So let's go ahead and talk about some of these players, right? And then I also mentioned some other players I think ESPN did leave out. So off top, we got Cooper Flag, which y'all know I'm a Duke fan, so I'm appreciative of that, right? In his rookie season, rookie of the year, by the way, 21 points a game. I'm just gonna round up for numbers, right? Seven rebounds, five assists on 47% shooting from the field. That's not bad. Now, hear me out, right? Hear me out. When we're thinking of MVP, I told you it's a regular season award. But also situation matters, right? So when we're looking at someone like SGA, he just won back-to-back MVPs, kudos to him. Whether people want to say he's king flop or whatever, won back-to-back MVPs. Nicola Yokin won back-to-back MVPs, Steph Curry won back-to-back MVPs. I'm not saying that these that this person or these people who I'm listing are gonna win back-to-back MVPs. I just wanted to highlight that they were they won back-to-back MVPs, and in part because of the teams that they were on. They got to focus on just being themselves and allowing their games to talk for them, right? They didn't have to worry about carrying the team the entire way every single time. Because that can get a little taxing. But they did do a lot, like they they were a large part of the team's focal point, right? Like if you were focusing on the team, you talking about the Steph Curry's, the Nikola Jokic, as hell, even James Harden, he didn't win back to back, but they were focused, everybody was teeing in on James Harden for them Rockets teams, right? Like, so we that that that's that's one of the criteria for sure that people are going to be caring about. So a team does matter. And where your team ranking for me personally factors in as well, too, but also our expectations of you on your team. So when I bring up Cooper Flag, stats were cool, that's great. I think he does have the case of being an MVP. He's an MVP talent, that's for sure. Now, will his team, the Mavericks, will they actually

Cooper Flagg And The Mavericks Factor

SPEAKER_00

get him in the right situation? Well, I I'm curious about it, because again, it's early, right? But they just let they just let go of Jason Kidd, his head coach. And I don't know if that was the right decision to make, personally. I rock with Kidd, honestly. Jason Kidd is one of the best point guards this game's ever seen, and I think he can teach his team how to play with a little bit of edge. And he was unfortunate to have the amount of injuries that he sustained over the last two seasons for his team. And I think that's it should he shouldn't have been let go, personally. The man just got to the final. But you know what, though? Luca Dante got traded, so I guess anything could happen in the Mavericks organization at this point. But Cooper Flag, the level talent that he has, yes, I do think he can be an MVP. He can get a bucket for sure. Cade Cunningham, right? We see Kate, look, hell, Cade almost could have won it this very season, to be honest with you. Like, there was a world where he could have gotten ahead of Shay this season. We didn't expect the Pistons to be here. We didn't expect him to be a number one seed in the East, a number three seed overall in the NBA. We didn't expect that at all. At all. And the boy is smooth, I gotta admit, if he can get a little stronger, have a little, you know what I'm saying, just a little bit more, a little bit more bounce to him. All right, I think going forward, you can have a stronger case for him being in the MVP race consistently. I think there's gonna be times where he falls off and it's not due to injury. But it's because, hey, the athletes and the level of athleticism is going to catch up to him and his height because he's unique, being able to play make at 6'8 the way he does. He's a small forward, or a point guard, I guess, in the small forward's body. And that's kind of disgusting when you think about it. So Cade Cunningham given 24 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists on 48% from the field. And he's in the right situation, too. Yeah, Cade can definitely win the MVP. I ain't mad at that at all. Anthony Edwards. Look, the brother's special, okay? He's 6'4, but he played like he's about 6'8. And he given 29 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists on 49% from the field. And keep in mind, he be chucking the ball from 3.2, by the way. Yeah, like he him and Tracy are real enamored. You get me? But also he don't mind rising up on you too, ladies and gentlemen. But his his footboard game is polished. I can see the wolves being in the I can see him being in an MVP discussion. Especially if he continues to carry the Wolves on his back. When I say carry, I mean because he's the first option. Julius Randle played some good basketball, Jaden McDaniel played some good basketball, Rudy Gobert Salah. And I ain't trying to slight Julius too much, because remember, Julius Randle was a former MVP candidate, right? So I hear you. Wolves are are better than what they seem like on paper. But Anthony Edwards is the driving force, and in fact, he has kept them in some series sometimes. Like he helped, actually, not even helped. He's the re he's a major part of the reason why they beat the Nuggets. Like he is. And and seeing him as an MVP candidate, I'm not gonna be surprised if he ends up winning MVP over the next two seasons. Because he has the talent to do so. But if his team don't change up to and improve, then maybe it's in the next three to four that I can see him finally winning his first MVP. And he's still young, too. That's the crazy thing about it, bro. He's not even in his prime, dog. Yeah, that's gonna be scary. It's gonna be scary work to see him continue to elevate his play. But yeah, Anthony

Cade Cunningham’s Real MVP Path

SPEAKER_00

Edwards could be one. Kawhi Leonard, it's surprising that Kawhi has actually never won an MVP. But then when you think about it, he ain't played enough games to really warrant an MVP. Like he's the poster boy, poster child of sitting out games. But we're gonna call it load management for shits and giggles. I hear you. Now, this season, if Kawhi continues to play like he did this season, 28 points, six rebounds, four assists on 51% from the field, hey yo. And keep in mind, too, he's a lockdown defender. Same with Ant. Ant a lockdown defender. I think Cooper Flag can be a lockdown defender as well. K can defend pretty well. I ain't gonna quite say lockdown. But all we got three out of four players right now, I deem as lockdown defenders, at least at some point in time in their career. Kawhi's now, ant's now. I think Coop's gonna be there eventually. I could see Kawhi doing it if it won't for the fact, like he got to be on a team that fits him personally. He gotta have some health, help, and health, I guess, too. But age-wise, it I I got question marks about Kawhi person, but he has the talent, that's for sure. Jalen Brown, look, I'm gonna just be honest with you. Jalen Brown should have won or should have gotten more love for MVP this season. This was his personal best season, getting 29 points a game, seven rebounds, five assists on 48% from the field. And remember now, 48 ain't bad, especially when you the primary focus on your team. Yes, Derek White's out there. He hooped. You know what I'm saying? He even got third team all NBA considerations. But it's levels to this too, though. Like he like I think teams are okay if Derek White beat you. I genuinely do think that. Like that I'm I'm not saying just leave him open, but if Derek White is beating your team, either it's just a great night by Derek White or he is really undervalued. And I actually value him quite high, but not having Jason Tatum produce Jalen Brown's best statistical season. And I'm telling y'all right now, ladies and gentlemen, it hurt me to just hear that JB couldn't get any more MVP nods than what he did. And that's my only gripe. The fact that, well not even gripe, that's my only concern. Because I think he's MVP caliber, but because of his team's situation, how his team is, yes, he's in a good situation. But it might be a too good of a situation. Like, I don't know if Jalen Williams on the Thunder would win MVP. I really truly do not. Because again, his situation is predicated on SGA. Like SGA is the focal point of that team. And I don't know when SGA would slip. It's the same thing for JB and JT. They both almost kind of cancel each other out, which is crazy. Also, again, Jason Tatum is on this list too. And keep in mind, for this season, coming off the Achilles injury, he had 22 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists on 41% from the field. I'll excuse the 41, right? The other numbers are pretty smooth. Can't lie to you. Can't lie to you at all. And only playing for about 20 games, and again, coming off an Achilles injury, and he's been in the MVP discussion for quite some time, too. It just never seemed like he could crack that top three. So that's a number, that's that's a gripe about JT. So again, coming back off the injury, we got to see how he does. I think he'll do oh well. I think he'll do pretty well, right? But at the same time, we could end up saying oh well on his MVP

Anthony Edwards And Winning Timeline

SPEAKER_00

cases because he had opportunity to do so. Will he do it not? He's in his prime. But other players are either coming up, like Cade in the MVP discussion, top three, younger than Jason Tatum, Anthony Edwards, younger than Jason Tatum. Jalen Brunson, he could be in the MVP discussion again and actually win it. Imagine if the Knicks win the championship this season and then they play well next season. You don't think people are gonna try to make Jalen Brunson the MVP of the league? I don't know. That could be interesting. And especially when he's giving 26 points, three rebounds, seven assists on 47 from the field, a 6'2 guard, like it's very tough to win a championship as and lead your team as somebody under 6'3. And Jalen Brunson, who is currently in his prime, is proving to do just that. Now, short guards, it does take a little bit for you all to get over the hump, but you gotta look special. But damn it, if Jalen Brunson ain't looking special right now, especially in the playoffs, he's doing more than getting the bucket. He's leading his team to a championship, and that's pretty special. And because of that, I think he's in a situation where maybe he can pull off an MVP. He had he has had opportunity to do so, and he has fallen short because we've had players like SGA and Yokick, Hell even MB, one-one. Like, I get you, I heard you. But I think at some point in time, could he maybe really make a strong case for a one, like like an MVP one, like one like number one on the list, that could happen. Again, he's in the right situation, and he's the leader of his team. So it's a little bit different than Jalen Brown and JT because both of them kind of cancel each other out. I don't think Kat is MVP-esque. I think he's all-star, potentially third-team all-NBA caliber. But Jalen Brunson is in the right situation, too, especially when they got Mikhail Bridges, OG Anobi, Josh Hart. They got a quality bench. They're looking pretty good. So Jalen Brunson could be another player to make something shape. We got to give love to Steph Curry, right? Back-to-back MVP in 2015, 2016. Last season, he gave 27 points a game with four rebounds and five assists on 47 from the field. Now keep in mind, Kawhi Leonard, honestly, Jimmy Butler did not play. So as a result, his team did not do as well as they needed to. He could have carried them a little bit more for sure, but he was also interested in his damn self. So next season, especially when we're thinking about it like this, how many more years is Steph Curry gonna actually play the game of basketball in the NBA? That I I don't know, because it's starting to hit that time where it's like, bro, all the all the young old greats, and I say young because that's what these are people I came up with, but now they're considered old, yeah, they're gonna be stopped playing basketball. Like we won't be seeing them on the TV no more. So would that energize Steph Curry to potentially win an MVP case? Another MVP award. Hell Matt Matt, what happens if he pairs up with Giannis and just starts going stupid? Now I hear you too, though. Well, Jay, didn't you just say that Jalen Brown and Jason Tatum cancel each other out? Yeah, they do. They also play very similar positions. JT might play make a little bit more because of how the scheme is on the team. But JB also takes the defensive or the better offensive players when it comes to defense. So like I could hear that with Steph Curry. I guess we could say this would be like Steph and KD on the same team. But imagine if Steph going back to like averaging 30 points. Like, like what happens if Steph just starts throwing up 30 balls consistently, 35s, 33s, and his team number one in the West, which I'm not acting like that can't happen. Because let's say if he gets Giannis, that could happen. If they get Kawhi Leonard, that could happen. Especially if he gets Kawhi. Hell, because Kawhi would take a backseat and be the defender who also can just get a bucket occasionally if

Kawhi Leonard Plus Celtics MVP Dilemma

SPEAKER_00

he needs to. That would be his role. And that could be okay because you've got a lot of space with Steph Curry on the floor. So again, I can see Steph Curry being an MVP and winning it at a very quote unquote old age. That'd be kind of crazy. Donovan Mitchell's up here, too. 28 points, five rebounds, six assists on 48 from the field. I'm just being honest with you. Donovan just got to his first conference finals and he's been in good situations. I don't believe in Buddy getting an MVP. He has been MVP-esque. I'm not gonna act like he don't have the talent to do so. I just don't think the situation is aligned for him to adequately do so. Imagine if the Cavs get another, like, let's say they get LeBron James. All right. I don't know if him and LeBron don't cancel each other out a little bit similarly to JB and JT. Yes, that speaks volumes to Donovan Mitchell in terms of talent, but also remember, LeBron is 41-42 now. So that's what I'm comparing him to. That's a little bit different. So again, Donovan Mitchell, Wow has the talent. I think if he were to win the MVP, he would have already done so. That's just me personally. So again, Wow has the talent. Eh, that could be a little interesting. Tyrese Maxie, 28 points, four rebounds, seven assists on 46 from the field. But he was hooping this season. He was on the MVP list, that's for certain. I will give y'all that. All right. It's gonna be tough for him to be the MVP, though. It really, truly is. I don't know if he's gonna be able to outduel Ant or Cade personally. I mean, they're right in his, they're right in his wheelhouse. When we're talking about age, he's he's right there. I don't know if he eclipses JB and JT. Jalen Brunson can be a little tough as well, too. Remember, Jalen Brunson just got the best out of Tyrese Maxie in the playoffs. I think people are gonna remember that. And then as time goes on, you get new players who are gonna join the MVP ranks. You got situations that may not favor you. And again, the 76ers, y'all played well. Know it like Embiid was hobbled. You lost Paul George for about 25 games. I hear you. I genuinely do. My thing is this, though. I don't know if Tyrese is gonna be better than these other players that are coming up or who are already here. Great player, though. I love Tyrese Max. I wish my team was able to draft him because I love his work ethic. And that's the only reason why I'm considering him as a possibility going forward. He has the talent to do so. I just don't know if he's gonna be able to have I don't I don't think he has more talent than the others, and I don't think his situation is going to be better than the others. And mind you, he doesn't, I'm not even saying he has to have the best team or the better team. I'm just saying his situation might not be better than Cades or might not be better than Ants or somebody else's hell. You might even say his situation might not even be better than Tyrese Halliburton, honestly. But again, let's go on moving forward. Bam out of bio last season gave 20 points, 10 rebounds, three assists on 44% from the field. You got to improve that field goal percentage, champ. I do not see him getting MVP, but also let's keep it a buck with you now. I didn't see him getting 83 points in the game either. So anything is possible at this point in time. Shout out Bam Ataba. But I don't see him winning an MVP personally. If he does, kudos. Thank you for proving me wrong yet again. But, and actually, I can't even say I was wrong the first time. I never even thought about it, honestly, for him getting 80 points in the game. Who would have thought that? But again, I would have the same reaction if Bam Adibayo wins MVP. Outside of Miami fans or Bam stands, I'm not going to predict that Bam Adebayo wins MVP. Depoy, I can hear. Devin Booker, I don't think he's going to win MVP either. 26 points, four rebounds, six assists last season on 46 from the field. Does he have the capability to do so? Yes. The situation might not align for him personally. When we're thinking about it, he's not better than Ant. He's not better than J. I'm talking about Jalen Brown for me. Cade Cunningham, he's not better than Jason Tatum is arguing again. SGA, Wimby, and Yoke. Not like he if he wants to win, he needs to be a second option. But second options don't typically win MVP. They can win finals MVP, but league MVP, those are more of the one options. And when we see him as a one option, have they gotten to the finals? Yes.

Brunson’s Case And Curry’s Late Run

SPEAKER_00

But also Chris Paul was an interchangeable one option for that team as well, too. And they were kind of deep, also, by the way. So again, Devin Booker as an MVP. Does he have the talent? Yes. Situation. I don't think the situation will align for him properly, so I don't expect him to be MVP. But you know what? Let's wait and see. Because maybe he gets paired with some people and then he just starts snapping. Because again, he has the talent to do so. Good playmaking guard, about 6'5. He can hit you on all three levels, but he's special. I ain't gonna lie to you. Chet Holmgren, they have up here. No. Like I hear it, no. Because again, it's the same thing I said with Jalen Williams, J Dub off the Thunder. They're not going to be better than SGA anytime soon. SGA is the focal point of their team. D-poy, he has a better chance of winning D-poy than he does NVP. I I don't even think he needed to be on the third team all NBA this season. So we're talking about MVP. I hear you. He's young. He is young. I will give you that. Can he improve? Yes. But I see some things out of SGA and J-Dub that make me wonder and question if Chet will be a second option even on his own team. And personally, for my MVPs, I'd like for them to be my first option. So him usurping both players, that's gonna be an uphill battle, champ. So kudos to you. Same thing with Evan Mobley. I've said this before, I'm gonna continue to say it. Look, Evan Mobley needs to be the one option on his team in order for his team to win. And I don't expect him to be MVP. If he ever becomes the best player on his team, and and Spider's still there, I'm sorry, Donovan Mitchell's, yeah, he's still there. James Hart is like, if he has that same team and he becomes the best player, his team's a one seed, he's the dominating. I can see him in the MVP discussion. Similarly to Chet, but again, Chet's giving us 17 points, nine rebounds, two assists on 56% from the field. And Evan Mobley's giving us 18 points, nine rebounds, four assists from the field, with four assists and 55% from the field. Those are not MVP numbers to me, personally. They're not. We got to uptick that scoring a bit. You like they can get a bucket for sure, but they need to get more buckets. I need to see a little bit more rebounding as well, too. Defense does help you out in this situation, but not as much as when we're talking about the Anthony Edwards or the Cade Cunningham or the Cooper Flags. Like, we're not not not in comparison to that personally. Because they're again, Coop averaged more points than both of y'all during his rookie year. And I'm not talking about rookie year comparison. I'm talking about his rookie year to y'all's current years right now. Y'all have been in the league for a couple seasons. I don't expect them to be MVPs. That's just me personally. Uh, we also got Paolo Bencaro giving 22 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and 46% from the field. Paulo has the ability to become an MVP. And it'd be funny too if we see him becoming MVP over the next two seasons. He has that kind of talent, and I think his team is in the right situation for him to actually be viewed as an MVP. He has to be snapping the way he was. Like when it was him, when it was the Magic versus the Pistons, the Magic kind of woke up a little bit. They lost the lead, that's for sure. They lost the series. I hear you. But they had a little inconsistency with cohesion over this regular season, and I think Paolo missed some time too. Let Paolo actually be healthy, it's going to be a problem. Especially if he finds that consistency again when he was going back and forth with Cade Cunningham in the playoffs. I think that might have woken up Paolo Bencaro. And over the next two seasons, I'm expecting to see Paolo Bencaro's name more in the MVP discussion. If it's not, then we may have we may have to reconsider some things about Paolo going forward. He'll still be young, by the way, but we may have to consider some things in terms of MVP discussions with Paolo. So over the next two seasons, I need to see him more in the MVP discussion. But ladies and gentlemen, I mean, hey, that's not a bad list, honestly, when we're thinking about it. We got Paolo Bencaro, Evan Mobley, Chet Hongren, Devin Booker, right? Bam at a bio, Tyrese Maxie, okay, you know what I'm saying? Jason Tatum, I hear it. Donovan Mitchell, uh, Steph Curry, all right, all right. Jalen Brunson, okay, I hear you. Jalen Brown, all right, I hear you. Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Edwards, yes, I hear that. Kate Cunningham, yeah, Cooper Flag, yes, I hear that. Some honorable mentions, too, ladies and gentlemen, because I think these guys can also potentially win an MVP. We got to talk about. Well, imagine if someone like a Trey

The Rest Of ESPN’s List Broken Down

SPEAKER_00

Young or Anthony Davis really starts snapping for their team. I think that's a possibility. Like the Wizards next season, they're going to be a new team to focus on. And if they're successful, those two players are going to be talked about because, oh, well, they got a bunch of young guys and it's just two all-stars. Even if they keep their number one pick, they're still going to be getting a lot of the praise for their success. But also blame for their failures. So I think they can be considered Tyrese Halliburton. Imagine if the Pacers, remember, Pacers were at the bottom of the league, damn near. If they vault back up to the top, well, they just left the finals last season. So if we skip a season because it hit Tyrese's injury, and then they get right back there, I think that could matter. Remember, Steve Nash won two of them things because he was able to help change a team around. And that's what Tyrese Halliburton could be viewed as. If the Pacers start winning again, he might get viewed as their savior. Same with who else? Lamello Ball. The Hornets, I think he's technically their best player. Con Knutel played solidly this year. Brandon Miller looks like he can hoop. He can get a bucket. Both of them can shoot the ball pretty well. Lamelo Ball is the playmaker as well as the shooter on their team, too. And he's not trash on defense. He's 6'7 point guard. What we talked about with Cade, we can talk about with Lamello. Lamello's just not the athlete that Cade is, and he's not as strong. But it's not like he's a punk. He's not he's not over, he's not too skinny. He's just slim. That's it. But he can also be MVP because again, we have higher expectations now of the Hornets. So if we see the Hornets become a three-seed next season or higher, I could see people trying to have LaMelo ball in the MVP discussion. That's for certain. If you don't believe me, that's cool. Argue with your mama. Zion Williams, and ladies and gentlemen, I'm gonna just say this. If the Pelicans can actually be healthy, Zion has proven to be a force. Like you could think of Ja Morant, right? Oh, Ja Morant could be in the MVP discussion because he's been there before. I don't think as well anymore. There are too much better guards out there who are playing who are better than John Morant personally. But when we're talking about Zion, Zion's still a physical freak of nature. Yes, so is John Morant because of his jumping ability. But Zion Williamson, stature-wise, we're talking about Braun meets Charles Barkley. That's literally what we're talking about, ladies and gentlemen. And the boy is just stupid strong. It's ridiculous. And he can help carry his team further than what we've seen them not reaching the play-in before. That's due to injuries. So again, ladies and gentlemen, if he's healthy, and let's say the Pelicans hit like a four-seater higher, I can see Zion even being the MVP discussion there. Remember, the Rockets, I'm not the Rockets, the Clippers. Kawhi Leonard was in the MVP race, and his Clippers were at ninth. Some of y'all can't even tell me who the hell's on the Pelicans. And they got a good team now. Don't get me wrong. They got some young pieces that you can work with for sure. I would love to get a player like Trey Murphy on my team right now. On my Lakers, pair him with Luca. Oh my God. We are killing. What? So I hear you. They got some pieces around Zion. Let Zion and these Pelicans start doing something next season. I bet you money. Or any season. I bet you money. Zion Williamson will be viewed as an MVP. If he ends up changing teams, that's another discussion for another day then. But right now on this team, he can be pretty solid for sure. And then also, I did mention the the Wizards, but at some point in time, too, AJ DeBonsa, I can see him being an MVP caliber player. It might be too early, too. I don't want to say Darren Peterson or Cam Boozer just yet either. I gotta, I I want to give me some I want to give myself a little bit more time, put eyes on him. But AJ, I'm quite certain he could be an MVP caliber player. We just gotta look and wait and see. But ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, that does conclude the end of the episode. So I'm curious, one, what do you all think about ESPN's list? Like,

Honorable Mentions And Final Question

SPEAKER_00

how do y'all like their listing in terms of what American-based players can win the MVP? Because this is the eighth straight season where a player born outside the United States has won the NBA MVP. And again, we got some repeats in there for sure. SGA, Yokick, Giannis, right? Like, so I get you on that for sure. But what American-based player can win the MVP next? That's what we're trying to figure out. Because before that time, there was like 57 out of 63 MVP winners that were American based. Just saying. So I'm curious what y'all think of ESPN's listing, but also my thoughts about ESPN's listing based on the players, and then my honorable mentions as well. Let me know your thoughts. But, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, that does conclude the end of the episode. So please make sure to like, subscribe, comment, tell anyone who's anyone about the show. My name is Trey. I'm the host of Get a Bucket. I hope you're all having a good one. Take care.
