Giannis Antetokounmpo may be leaving Milwaukee after their playoff disappointment, despite the high hopes for his pairing with Damian Lillard. I break down my top seven landing spots for the Greek Freak, analyzing how each team could create a championship contender with him.

• Memphis Grizzlies could trade Ja Morant and pair Giannis with Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Zach Edey

What's up everybody? It's your favorite show's favorite show. Get a Bucket. I'm your host, trey, and as usual, I hope you're all having a wonderful, wonderful day Now.

Today we're going to talk about my Giannis' trade wishlist, but before we do that, please make sure to hit that like and subscribe button, comment, tell anyone who's anyone about the show, Try and get the ratings up a little bit. You know, just a little bit. But, like I said, today we're going to talk about my wish list for where Giannis should go End of day. I don't know if y'all know this. Bucks lost Badly, but I know there was context. I got to provide context. Dame did get injured. That was supposed to be the dynamic duo, right, everybody was raving about it. I had my hesitations, and there's video evidence, right, I'm not just talking smoke, but they, you know they didn't do enough to to secure yannis and I believe he is leaving. Who going to milwaukee end of day? That's the question. So I got a couple teams that buddy should be going to. At least should want to keep in mind some of these teams that you see can be up here. Some of these teams might not be talked about, no disrespect, no disrespect. But again, though we got a couple teams talk about. So my wish list would be as follows and I'll go in order, right? So we got here the Grizzlies, ladies and gentlemen, the Memphis Grizzlies. That, for me, would be a good one, because we would actually be able to trade Ja Morant, maybe even Gigi Jackson. All right, cool, maybe a pick if you need to, but again, you might not, because you might be able to sell Milwaukee on job. And in the meantime, the Grizzlies, they get Giannis. And now you got Desmond Bain, jaron Jackson Jr, zach Eadie paired with Giannis. Jaron Jackson Jr likes to step out, right, zach Eadie? He doesn't have to start, he can be there to replace Giannis or Jaron Jackson Jr. So again, we do have some value, right there. I would be curious to see the Grizzlies with Giannis.

But next I want to talk about now Giannis going to the Knicks. That's my sixth wishlist, right? Because I do think Jalen Brunson, carl Anthony Towns and Giannis Antetokounmpo could be an interesting pairing On that Grizzlies team I mentioned. Giannis could still be the guy, and it works out On this Knicks team. He don't have to be Off talent, he can be. But you got Jalen Brunson, who's been considered an MVP caliber player right. Carl Anthony Towns was in the MVP discussion at one point in time too. So again, you have a good chance at winning a championship. I can't lie to you, if he went to the Knicks, I think that trio would be interesting, just depending on who they are able to keep, because again, I don't know who the Bucs would be able to try to sell the fan base on. That would be a little interesting.

Speaker 1:

But let's move on up to the next team right, number five for me the Wolves. Ladies and gentlemen, I kind of want to put this a little higher. Y'all see who on my shirt right now. I got to say this. I was tempted to put this a little higher because they could be the new age Shaq and Kobe. That's some question marks. So then we've heard Giannis be called Superman, right, and we see what Ant-Man is doing. Could this be the? Could this be the next real Shaq and Kobe? I know we tried to talk about AD and Braun at one point in time. They tried to give that, they tried to say Kareem and they tried to say a lot of stuff. This could be viewed more so as the next Shaq and Kobe. So again, I would like to see that Wolves piece happen and I maybe you can get rid of, maybe you can trade Julius Randall or go bear, I don't. I think you might have to get rid of Randall, to be honest with you. They got a couple of picks too, I think, so maybe they can make some things shake. I got to double check that, though, but the Wolves would be interested.

Speaker 1:

Let's move it on up, though, to the Warriors at number four, because that would be pretty good. I'm not going to lie to you. From a culture standpoint, ladies and gentlemen. Giannis on the Warriors and paired with Steph as a duo, keep in mind, you got yes, you have Jimmy and you have Draymond. I think at some point in time, draymond comes off the bench we're talking about now. Jimmy can coexist with Giannis and Steph. Because of the spacing that Steph Curry provides, because of his skill set to shoot, you get that equal balance. And then, on the defensive end, jimmy, giannis, that's a force right there. So I would love to see the Warriors actually get that. To be honest with you, that would be good. That would be good for Giannis personally. Get you another championship champ, but let's go ahead and move on off the Warriors, right?

Let's talk about the Lakers at number three. Ladies and gentlemen, I am a laker fan, right, I'm not being biased about this one either. I do think this would be interesting. Um, I don't know how in the world we make this happen. For starters, maybe they believe in austin reeds, enough, maybe. And dalton connect too, if we keep them, I guess. But we got to see if we can get Giannis Cause again. We do like the LA does, host the host the Olympics for 2028. So I think that would be a good look for Giannis, and let's also think about this too, right, if he does get paired with Luka Doncic, we could. We could very well, especially if they play together on the Lakers for a couple of seasons like five, six, right, and they rattled off some championships get a lot of cachet. We could talk about them as the greatest international duo of all time. So again, I'm not biased when I say this. Y'all just may want to consider the Lakers. We could help out once we get our management situated. Hopefully we shake that out soon.

Speaker 1:

Enough about my soapbox, though. Let's talk about my number two team, which surprised me just a little bit, but I do want to look at the Hawks, the Atlanta Hawks. Ladies and gentlemen, trey Young and Giannis Antetokounmpo, that combo does kind of surprise me as a good one for me. I think it forces Trey Young to be better off ball and I think it forces Giannis to be a pick and roll player as well as still maintaining his level of play right. Because now we got to start talking about Giannis adapting his game. He's getting older, his physical style. It might not be that long of a career for Giannis if he keeps trying to play this level of play right or this level of style. So, trey Young, giannis, we could see a Steph Curry, draymond Green situation Possibly.

Speaker 1:

I think that's doable. And now we got depending on who you keep right, because you may have to let go of someone like Zachary bc, but what if you don't? Now we might even have a situation where he could be viewed as a michael porter jr on the nuggets that third option that could possibly sneak up to the second option, because again he was drafted first, even though everybody perceived that was a weak draft class. Still first right. So there might be some expectations. So again I I would love to see Giannis paired with Trey Young in the Hawks, because they got a couple players on that team that can make that thing interesting. I'm telling you that right now, dyson Daniels, jalen Johnson Could be interesting, could be interesting.

But, ladies and gentlemen, that is my number two team and I got to say my number one team is without question here to stay. I think it beats everyone across the board. It say my number one team is without question here to stay. I think it beats everyone across the board. It is the Spurs. It is the Spurs, ladies and gentlemen.

Now I did mention that Giannis Antetokounmpo, his play style, cannot last that long until we add Victor Wimbinyama to the fold, because Victor Wimbinyama allows Giannis to attack. The big has to come out to paint A power forward. Whoever had that depth chart for the power forward spot is going to have to guard Yama's ante de kumba, because Victor Wimby and Yama can go to five Like that's going to be kind of tough. So again, when I'm thinking about Yama's I didn't even mention Darien Fox yet and keep in mind too, this might be the most realistic one, because they actually have pieces that they can trade to sell to Milwaukee. Like y'all saw, stephon Castle is a really good player. I think he'll be fine going into the future. How good of a player, like NBA star. I'm not saying he's going to replace Giannis, so you've got to add a couple picks, a couple players, too, to work with. Again, you might even throw in the Devin Vassell, mckeldin, johnson. These are pieces that again, you can build with if you're Milwaukee.

But Giannis and Victor, wimby and Yama I know I mentioned Luka and Giannis as potentially the best international duo these boys would be the best international duo, without question. Hands down, are you with your mama? I promise you, giannis Wimby, I made reference that once Wimby strengthens up the way Giannis does or did, watch out, and I'm expecting that around year four, year five. It usually takes big five years to develop, ladies and gentlemen. We're at like what? Year? Year two, so we got some time. But if he's around, giannis, that could actually like that. That timetable keep in mind too.

Speaker 1:

It's not like Victor Wimbinyama is a slouch in the NBA, but he can hoop. It was just because of his injury that derailed him from winning deep boy. He was all star like come on now, man, like that's going to be crazy. Health will be the only reason why they would not be the greatest international duo in NBA history, I promise you. But again, though, ladies and gentlemen, this is my listing for Giannis in terms of my wishlist, because, again, all of these teams could actually use him and be vaulted up as contenders every single last one of them, and I genuinely believe that. But I mean, maybe I missed out on a team, or maybe the teams that I listed off weren't hitting for you.
